My Story: Falling in Love with Polish Pottery

For me, Polish Pottery was truly love at first sight.
In 2011, while attending the Philadelphia Gift Show in search of new retail items for my coffee shop in Hagerstown, Maryland, I discovered a Polish Pottery booth—and everything changed. The rich colors, hand-painted designs, and incredible craftsmanship captured my heart instantly.

What began as a small selection of mugs, cups, and tea accessories in my coffeehouse quickly grew into a passion that shaped the next chapter of my life.

A colorful assortment of Polish Pottery bowls, mugs, teapots, bakers, vases, serving pieces and decorative objects with floral, animal, and geometric patterns in vibrant colors, primarily blue, yellow, green, and red.

From Coffee Shop Owner to Polish Pottery Retailer

After selling my coffee shop, I expanded into a brick-and-mortar Polish Pottery store. As my online audience grew and more customers asked to shop from across the country, I transitioned fully to e-commerce.
Today, Polish Pottery of Hagerstown proudly brings authentic Bolesławiec stoneware—primarily from Ceramika Artystyczna, Ceramika Kalich, and Kaola Studio—to homes nationwide.

My mission is simple:

Share beautiful, functional, heirloom-quality Polish Pottery with people who love it as much as I do.

Personal Approach You Can Count On

Interacting with fellow Polish Pottery lovers brings me so much joy. I believe in friendly, personalized service—the kind of connection small businesses are known for.

If you ever need help finding a specific pattern, shape, or piece, I’m always happy to assist. Many customers come to me with special requests, and I work closely with artisans and suppliers to help bring those wishes to life.

A Woman-Owned Small Business with Heart

When you shop with Polish Pottery of Hagerstown, you're supporting a small, woman-owned business rooted in family and community.

I’m a wife, mother of four sons and a daughter, grandmother of eight, dog mom to two pups, former accountant, former coffee shop owner—and a proud foster dog mom for a local animal rescue.

My passion for Polish Pottery runs deep, and I love introducing customers to this vibrant, functional art form.

My Philosophy: Use Your Polish Pottery!

One of my favorite quotes is from the wise Erma Bombeck:
“I would have burnt the pink candle that was sculptured like a rose before it melted while being stored.”

Polish Pottery is meant to be used and enjoyed—every day.
So go ahead… bake in it, serve with it, celebrate with it.
Let it bring joy into your home as often as possible.

Giving Back

5% of All Sales will be donated to the Medical Expenses Fund of Reach Out Rescue & Resources, a Rescue near & dear to my heart. I have fostered many dogs for them over the years. Some of the dogs they rescue have extensive medical needs and as an all volunteer organization they continually need to raise funds for their care.
