1010973 Dashing Delivery Santa on Skis Retired Ornament by Christopher Radko. Approx 7”. Handcrafted in Poland. New with tags.

Dashing Delivery, a playful and vibrant Christopher Radko ornament. This festive piece features Santa Claus balancing on a golden sled, bundled up in a red and green checkered coat and blue boots, with a towering sack of colorful gifts strapped to his back. Glittering accents highlight every detail — from the sparkle of snow beneath his sled to the shimmer of the presents above.

I sold Christopher Radko Ornaments in my gift shop over 20 years ago. Since the shop closed I have had these carefully stored at my home.

According to the Christopher Radko Company, each of their designs begins as an intricate illustration created by Radko artists. Then the year-long process of sculpting, molding, and sampling begins. At the production stage, their family-owned European factories use centuries-old techniques to blow, silver, hand-lacquer and embellish each and every ornament. This process requires a full seven days to complete.
