Rest A Spell Santa on Sleigh Retired Ornament by Christopher Radko. Approx 6”. Handcrafted in Poland. New with tags.
Christopher Radko Ornament 1011087 “Rest A Spell”
After a long night of spreading joy, Santa takes a well-deserved break in Rest A Spell, a charming Christopher Radko ornament full of warmth and holiday cheer. Santa sits comfortably on a golden bench, dressed in his classic red suit trimmed with snowy white fur. A glowing lantern rests in his hand, and a cheerful teddy bear peeks from his overflowing sack of gifts.
I sold Christopher Radko Ornaments in my gift shop over 20 years ago. Since the shop closed I have had these carefully stored at my home.
According to the Christopher Radko Company, each of their designs begins as an intricate illustration created by Radko artists. Then the year-long process of sculpting, molding, and sampling begins. At the production stage, their family-owned European factories use centuries-old techniques to blow, silver, hand-lacquer and embellish each and every ornament. This process requires a full seven days to complete.
